Glen-mary Christopher
Glen-mary lives with her spouse, two teenagers, and three cats in the small town of Coronach in southwest Saskatchewan, where she works as a nurse practitioner providing full-time health care services to three rural communities. She started piping at age seven with the PPCLI Army Cadet pipe band in Estevan. After high school, she took a 27-year piping hiatus for education, family, and athletics - completing every triathlon distance from sprint to Ironman. During the pandemic, she had a mid-life piping crisis and joined the City of Regina Pipe Band. She has been busy making up for lost piping time since then.

Ethan DesChamps
Ethan got his first set of pipes just before his tenth birthday, and joined the Ogden Legion Pipe Band the same year. He became part of the competitive band the following year. Ethan has been the pipe major of the band - now known as the Foothills Caledonia Youth Pipe Band - since the start of 2023/2024 season. He has recently been giving back to the band by helping as an instructor.
One of Ethan's favourite things about piping is the camaraderie with his bandmates. He also enjoys solo competitions and was the Alberta Grade I aggregate solo winner the last two years in a row. He is happy to be back at the Saskatchewan Highland Gathering for the second time.Ethan is 17 years old and is graduating from high school in Calgary. He plans to attend University of Calgary in the fall. Outside of his interest in music, he also has a keen interest in cars and is an avid hockey fan.

Jonathon Kalyn
Jonathon has been playing the bagpipes for about six years. Piping has been a great passion of his. He started playing when he was 11 years old and since then he has played across Canada from British Columbia to Nova Scotia.
Jonathon has been the Alberta Society of Pipers and Drummers aggregate winner for grades 4, 3, and 2, and he is currently competing in grade 1. Jonathon is the pipe sergeant of, the Foothills Caledonia Youth Pipe Band of Calgary.
This will be his first time competing at the PPI.

Creighton Widdis
Creighton has been playing pipes and loving plaid for almost as long as he can remember, playing the bagpipes since he joined the Fraser Pipe Band at nine years old. Moving on to the Victoria Park Pipe Band for years he also played pipes, whistles, and bodhran with local Celtic band Squeeze of Scotch. After leaving the playing community for more than a decade, he came back to play with the Regina Police Pipe Band,and he is currently a member of the Saskatoon Police and the Regina RCMP Pipes & Drums.
Creighton enjoys long walks on the beach, especially while on the way to the beer tent.

Cam Dawson
Cam is a fourth-generation piper from Winnipeg, Manitoba. He began playing at the age of 7 when his father, John Dawson started teaching him. Cam joined the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada Pipes and Drums in 2015 and would later become a serving member in 2018. He is currently employed as a Recruiter for the Army Reserves.
Cam has played with The Rocky Mountain Pipe Band Grade 2, The City of Dunedin Pipe Band Grade 1, the RCMP D Division Pipe Band and Queens Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada.
Cam is currently enrolled at the University of Manitoba where he is taking a History Degree. He loves to spend time with his girlfriend Izabella, family and dogs.
